Where to find Sheaborhood.

Sheaborhood is the informal name for the Phoenix area around 32nd Street and Shea Boulevard. There is no fixed neighborhood boundary. This guide starts with the independent businesses at that intersection and along nearby 32nd Street.

For a home search, 85028 is a useful starting ZIP, but check the actual cross streets. Nearby trail entrances are included as separate stops. The businesses featured here are in Phoenix, rather than Scottsdale or the Town of Paradise Valley.

A photo kiosk becomes a gathering place.

32 Shea’s building began as a drive-through photo kiosk in the 1980s. Since 2011, the restaurant has turned that small space into a stop for coffee, food and cocktails, with a planted patio at the intersection.

That spirit of giving people a reason to gather also shows up in the Sheaborhood Business Alliance. Independent owners collaborate on local events, linking nearby shops and plazas. Check their current calendar to find the next outing.

A quick look at the homes.

A Sheaborhood search can include single-family homes and other housing along the broader 32nd Street corridor. The name describes a local area rather than one style of house.

As you tour, think about the places you would return to: the roastery, a bakery stop or a preserve entrance. Try the route from each home and see how those stops fit into your day.
